Not sure I understand what you're trying to prove here; lots of cars from the late 80s/early 90s look like that. Porsche 944, Ferrari F355, MR2 Turbo, Lamborghini Diablo, etc. The Z32 and the Diablo have the exact same headlights, and whenever I used to park my white Z next to my friend's white 3000GT we'd have people ask if they were the same model car. I'm sure most people here love the design of the Z32 and also acknowledge that it was both influenced by, and an influence on many other cars from the same time period. As far as I remember, the negative things people had to say about what you were doing were more so directed at your method (i.e. gluing paper to the body of a car,) not your design.
